The sea gets colder, but the Gulf of Mirabello is still right outside, the veranda too, and the days move differently than they do in July.

From November to March the apartment stays open to guests looking for a place to relax in front of the sea, for something longer than a week.

The wifi is stable enough to work from here, sea in view, from the rooms or from the veranda.

For anyone who writes, plays an instrument or just needs distance from the crowds, this is where winter is real: Agios Nikolaos goes quiet, not every shop stays open, and living by the sea at a slower pace is something only some people actually want. If you’re one of them, get in touch.

The double bed room boasts a spacious wardrobe, two night tables with lamps, while the family room (3 beds) includes a chest of drawers and a night table with a lamp.

Linens, including bed sheets and blankets, are provided.

Both the bedrooms and the living room are equipped with air conditioning (cooling and heating) for optimal comfort.

Enjoy free, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the apartment and the veranda.

The kitchen is stocked with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, American coffee machine, kettle, Italian “caffettiera,” pots, pans, glasses, dishes, cups, and utensils.

The bathroom offers a bathtub with a shower, a laundry machine, soap, hairdryer, and toilet paper. Towels are provided.

Is the apartment “Magic Aurora” by ValBel pet-friendly?

While we love animals, the apartment cannot accommodate pets. However, for very small dogs, please contact us, and we will consider each situation individually.

How is the internet connectivity in the apartment “Magic Aurora”, in Almyros, considering I need to work remotely during my stay or stay connected with my loved ones?

"Magic Aurora" comes with reliable Wi-Fi, ensuring a stable internet connection for remote work or staying in touch with loved ones.

The wifi connection is usable from the rooms and from the sea-view veranda.

Is Agios Nikolaos alive in winter?

It's quieter than in summer, with many shops closed out of season, but there are supermarkets, bakeries and important shops and it covers all essential services.

Is there public transportation near the property?

In front of our property's gate, there's a bus stop with connections to Agios Nikolaos, Sitia, Ierapetra, Heraklion, and the village Kritsa.

In winter the timetable includes less routes but the buses work.

If you prefer not to drive, we can organize guided experiences in different areas of Crete.

Are there historical sites near the apartment?

Yes! Explore ancient ruins and archaeological sites in Agios Nikolaos, including

Spinalonga Island,
the ancient Lato archaeological site (13 km),
the Gournia site (18/21 km),
Mochlos (37 km).

For the Palace of Knossos, visit Heraklion (65 km).
